This former catering company planted roots (see what we did there?) in the DogA center in 2014 and has been attracting voracious vegans since. Specializing in healthy Western-style cuisine, reviewers love their jackfruit Oumph burger, falafel ball Funky Fresh Salad, and raw strawberry cheesecake.

With award-winning cuisine, customizable bowls and rotating specials, this solid top contender is a fan favorite among both veg and nonvegans. This chain, founded by followers of late guru Sri Chinmoy, has two convenient locations around Oslo. Hearty soups, sandwiches and seasonal specials are sure to satisfy the cold bodies of wandering tourists. Most long-time and well-informed vegans will already know about Loving Hut, a chain founded by followers of Supreme Master Ching Hai. Serving reasonably priced burgers, kebabs and various desserts, this is a quick and enjoyable rest stop for anyone looking for tasty eats on a budget. The theme of the cuisine is centered around Asian/Vietnamese influences, though they also serve Western fare such as pizza and wraps.

Housed in a traditional wood-paneled, standalone barn, this cozy little cafe serves delicious and freshly made raffles, coffee and baked goods. Pick up some vegan essentials on your way out, as this cafe doubles as a natural/organic general goods store. The best of both worlds!
