Clean, modern and instagrammable, Virtuous Pie has fast established itself as a favorite amongst hip, hungry hipsters and pretty much anyone looking for a scrumptious, vegan pizza followed by with bespoke ice cream. Since the pizzas are all thin-crust, they aren’t the most filling, but they are certainly big on flavor. Standout pies include the Ultraviolet, Stranger Wings and Superfunghi. Their ice creams are made on-site as well as their creamy soft-serve, not to be missed!

A unique experience for adventurous vegan and nonvegan eaters, Indigo Age Cafe serves raw, veganized traditional Ukrainian cuisine. Their Cabbage Rolls, Borscht and Pirogies are specialty dishes, and in addition to hearty tableside service, they also offer high tea and daily meal boxes for the busy worker.

A staple of the community, this vegan family-owned pizzeria makes its own sauces, dressings and even cheese to ensure everything is 100% vegan. Opened in 2011, Vegan Pizza House has been delighting customers with its wide variety of pies that can easily go head-to-head with any traditional pizzeria. Standout pies include the Gourmet, Meat Lover and Spicy. Besides pies, they also serve donairs (what they call pita in Canada), lasagna, baked spaghetti, souvlaki and spanakopita.
